2004 BSSC Annual Meeting - Radisson Hotel and Suites, Downtown

St. Louis Missouri, March 10-11, 2004

St. Louis, Missouri provided the venue for the 2004 BSSC Annual Meeting. A diverse group of architects, code officials, engineers, and others with an interest in strengthening the nations buildings and structures against the devastating force of earthquakes attended and provided input.

The BSSC Board and the Code Resource Support Committee (CRSC) also met in conjunction with the annual meeting. The Board elected new officers and two new members, Ronald Piester with the New York Department of State and Robert Thomas with the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA). The CRSC covered code issues of interest to be addressed at the national code hearings in May.

At the Awards Banquet, the newly elected Chair, Jim Sealy, FAIA, was introduced, volunteers were recognized for their contributions, and a sumptuous buffet along with a 25th BSSC Anniversary cake was enjoyed by all. The link at the end will take you to pictures from the banquet.
